TEMIS Motorsports – Return & Refund Policy

TEMIS Motorsports wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how returns, refunds, and exchanges work for orders placed through our online store.
- Return window
- You may request a return within 30 days of delivery, based on the carrier’s tracking information.
- Returns requested after 30 days are not accepted, except where required by law or under a manufacturer’s warranty.
- Return eligibility
To be eligible for a return, all of the following must be true:
- The item is new, unused, and not installed (no signs of mounting, test‑fit, fluid, or road use).
- The item is in original‑type packaging with all accessories, hardware, and documentation.
- You provide proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice).
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
- Non‑returnable items
Some items cannot be returned, including but not limited to:
- Special‑order items or products labeled “Special Order,” “Made to Order,” or “Non‑Returnable” at checkout.
- Electronics and electrical components, including sensors, tuners, ECUs/modules, and wiring once opened.
- Coilovers and complete suspension kits that show signs of installation.
- Engine internals (e.g., pistons, rods, bearings, cams) and complete engines/short blocks/long blocks.
- Turbochargers, superchargers, and turbo kits.
- Any item marked “Final Sale” or “Non‑Returnable.”
Non‑returnable status does not affect your rights for items that are defective, damaged in transit, or shipped incorrectly.
- How to request a return (RMA required)
All returns require prior approval and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
To request a return within 30 days of delivery, email:

Include:
- Your order number
- The part number(s) you wish to return
- A brief reason (wrong part ordered, no longer needed, defective, damaged in shipping, etc.)
We will respond to return requests within 2 business days with approval/denial and instructions. Packages sent without an RMA number on the label or paperwork may be refused.
- Return shipping
- For buyer’s remorse (changed mind, wrong part ordered, incompatible part), you are responsible for return shipping and insurance.
- For errors on our part (incorrect item shipped) or items damaged in transit, we will work with you to provide a prepaid label or reimbursement, at our discretion.
- You are responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during return shipping; we strongly recommend tracked and insured service.
- Restocking fee
A single, fixed restocking fee applies to approved returns:
- All accepted returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee based on the product price, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped) or a confirmed defective item.
- If original packaging is missing or significantly damaged, additional deductions may apply to cover repackaging or loss of resale value.
We will disclose the expected restocking fee when issuing your RMA whenever reasonably possible.
- Refunds vs. store credit
Once your return is received, inspected, and approved:
- We will issue a refund to your original payment method or store credit, as applicable for that order.
- Original shipping charges are non‑refundable, except where the return is due to our error or a confirmed defective item.
- We process refunds within 3–5 business days after your returned item is received and approved. The time for the refund to appear in your account may vary by payment provider.
- Defective, damaged, or warranty items
Damaged in shipping
If your order arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 3 business days of delivery.
- Include your order number and clear photos of the packaging and damaged item.
We will help file a claim and arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund, as appropriate.
Defective items / warranty claims
- Most products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only; TEMIS Motorsports does not provide an additional warranty.
- For suspected defects, contact us with a detailed description and photos/video. We may ask you to return the item for inspection.
- Replacement, repair, or credit is issued only after the manufacturer or distributor approves the warranty claim.
- Unless the manufacturer agrees to cover shipping, return shipping for warranty inspection is your responsibility.
- Legal notice
We are based in Florida and comply with applicable state and federal consumer‑protection laws. If any part of this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction, that law will control for the affected transaction.
